Poll: Which of our ten new characters do you think should be a recurring cast member of TCGS?

The 8/22/12 show was a scorcher! We had Bobby Moynihan in studio. Special surprise birthday guest Jen Engel sitting in. And most importantly – ten new kick ass characters vying for the chance to be a recurring cast member of the show. They were all viewer submitted, and now you, the viewers of this show, get to cast your vote for your favorite amongst the ten!

If you’ve already watched the episode, cast your vote asap! If you’re waiting to download it, make sure to do so and get your vote in by next Tuesday at midnight, when the poll closes!

And please – if you really love a character, feel free to campaign for him or her! Tell friends to watch the episode and cast their vote! Make gifs and let Brian over at The Official TCGS Tumblr know about them. Have fun! Gethard Show, I hereby release all the votes for Meowgic Matt to Cream Guy. It's what a generous politician like Mitt Romney would do (according to Ann a couple minutes ago).

(NOTE: I deleted my comment that veej replied to, so here it is again) Look. There has probably been cheating. However, out of almost 400 characters, these characters got to be on the show. Even if they don't win the audience poll, each of the ten creators won. I definitely feel that way. It was amazing hearing my silly, stupid idea get announced on television. I loved watching what the writers had made of the name I submitted. And I got to make some very weird videos and blah blah. That's pretty much all worth it right there.

Now, now. Both top candidates have clearly cheated. That's to be expected. It's an Internet poll. Not a national election.

@maryder Touche. Kinda makes it hard to draw a real winner, more like 'Who cheated harder at the end?' Both should win if anything, they were funny.

Funny how the Too Much Cream guy jumped up like 70 votes in the past five minutes. Way to go guys, you learned how to clear your cookies to cheat at a poll.

Yeah, really. Guy Who Likes Cream beats Vinegar Al, who is just a mouthpiece for randomness and not really a character. I honestly thought Audience Member with a Baby should have won. It's just a huge wrench in the gears of TCGS to have that character show up. And the baby was Bobby Moynihan's! That's crazy!

I have no idea why Mopey Janitor didn't perform better, but come on, Guy Who Likes Cream, BUT NOT TOO MUCH CREAM! was hilarious, while Vinegar Al just listed a series of details about what he likes and doesn't like! Vote right. Vote Cream. But not too much Cream.

I vote, BUT NOT TOO MUCH VOTE! for he Guy Who Likes Cream, BUT NOT TOO MUCH CREAM! It's the best character name ever created and even though he really only has one punch line, he was performed so amazingly well.

I'd also like to request bringing back Meowgic Matt once in a while. He was simultaneously so subtle and so funny. Ronk was nuts. Bring him back as well. I liked Vinegar Al, but with so much competition he was too much of an archetype.

@veej Are you logged in on both computers? Or are you perhaps not using a different computer but just a different browser? In either of those cases, you will only be shown the results. If you share this link with someone and they haven't voted, they should be able to vote.

@Darren Miller @veej hey darren, thanks for the reply - no, i'm not logged into both computers - im sharing the link to people who are in other offices tho and we are on the same network, would that matter? when they click on the link, it just shows the status of votes, they aren't able to cast one.
