Last week’s episode was a total trip and a blast! I hope everyone enjoyed last week’s foray into the future where I had to juggle titties mined from the flesh mines of Portland to save humankind. What a weird, bizarre week. Science Police were so great and it was fascinating to meet the descendants of all of my present-day friends. (I really enjoy living a life where I just got to write that.)
As anyone who watched last week knows, at the end of the episode – myself, the Keeper of the Battledome and 40 Year Old Goosey overshot 2012 and somehow landed in the year 12. This week’s episode will be coming to you live from Ancient Rome! Apparently there’s a senate meeting and many of the ancestors of cast members of TCGS were Roman senators. I’ll be hosting this public forum in the wake of the death of one of the Ceasars, apparently.
Worst of all, the ancestors of some of my greatest foes are here in Ancient Rome - THE HEMLOCK GANG will be on hand. Old school TCGS fans will remember the Wiffle Bat Gang, a group of miscreants that like to attack people for random reasons. Well apparently their bloodline extends back to Roman times when there was a similar grip known as THE HEMLOCK GANG that like to administer the deadly poison known as Hemlock for random reasons.
So if you are an Ancient Roman citizen and you want to play this deadly game, here’s how it works: Viewers of this Roman forum will be shown a word. They can call our show via a mystical oracle and speak directly to myself, Keeper, Goosey, and the senators. If you can get any of those people to say the word, they will have to drink hemlock and die on camera, and their bodies will then be prepared for transport over the River Styx.
Apparently the way to access the oracle is to tap into a strange series of numbers known as 212-757-1393. Good luck, citizens of Rome!
On top of all that, we will be visited by the musicians known as THE SO SO GLOS. If you aren’t aware of the work of these guys, imagine PURE ROCK AND ROLL and then you will have some idea. My guess is that they are going to introduce a level of rock into the populace of Roman times that will tear the roof off of the MNN coliseum. I can’t wait to welcome these guys to TCGS.
