I think John Oliver is one of the best standups alive today. Also Patton Oswalt, Paul F. Tompkins, Doug Benson, Bill Burr, and Jim Gaffigan just to name a few.

Stewart Lee was already mentioned, but he's at the top of my list. Also: Todd Glass and Richard Pryor.

Tons of favorites, hard to narrow it down. All time would probably be George Carlin, Bill Hicks, Mitch Hedberg,and Norm MacDonald. Emo Phillips is up there too. Currently, Anthony Jeselnik.

Paul F. Tompkins. I can listen to his albums again and again and they never get stale.

Hannibal Buress. Jimmy Pardo (come do shows on the East Coast, Jimmy!), Todd Glass....

Those guys are the absolute Top for me right now, but it changes with my mood. So so many great stand-ups out there. A lot of good local Philly guys, too.
