Totally. You would never think it. I heard comic book writer Brian Michael Bendis singing it's praises on a podcast years ago and I gave it a shot. It's really smartly written and they rarely make the obvious choice, story-wise...

...although the whole thing is still HIGHLY embarrassing...

i always watch TCGS on my smart phone, through a podcast app. I always thought of it more as a podcast, due to my preferred method of viewing it.

I've mainly been watching TCGS, Parks and Rec, and 30 Rock lately and I'm ridiculously excited for the new season of Castle. Is anyone else a fan of Golden Girls and M*A*S*H*?

I'm not a fan of Golden Girls.

I am THE BIGGEST fan of Golden Girls!!! 8-)
Seen every episode several times!!

(proving that I am more loser than nerd;
in one episode of Friends we found out Ross used to stay home on saturdays and watch Golden Girls... I did that! And still do to this day! LOSER4LIFE!!!)

hey i think the wire is pretty good.

I got the DVD's of The Newsroom (the old canadian show, not the HBO one) for my birthday at the start of the summer, and I've been watching them repeatedly throughout the summer. Since then I've naturally found out they're all on youtube. If you're bored it's worth checking out - it's kind of a precursor to The Office, except for some surreal bits like when it's the end of the world and the main character is sentenced to death for being emotionally unavailable.

The original Canadian The Newsroom is so much better than the American series that shares the name. It's a great show. It's kind of a precursor to Curb Your Enthusiasm too.
