Comedy Bang Bang & Bunk were awesome. Bored to Death is so good. Flight of the Conchords & Stella will always have a place in my heart.

Stella was awesome. Wainy Days has been really good too. Pretty much everything those guys have done is genius.

Is Bored to Death worth the investment? I know the cast is all brilliant and there's a cult following for the show (and I generally like things with smart cult followings) but I heard a lot of very neutral, lukewarm reviews for it during its whole run...

I love it !!

I think, just like with all tv shows, you gotta get "hooked" in some way or form which can or cannot happen due to several reasons. I really like the vibe of the show, the depicted scenery, the cast and humour. For me, when I first viewed some episodes it was late at night/ early in the morning. Perhaps that helps as well, I'm in a different mood then which perhaps fits the show. I'd say just watch a few episodes!

THE STATE. Period. The end.

Bored to Death is definitely worth it! Even just for Zach Galifianakis' and John Hodgman's characters.

Oooh let's talk about tv forever!

Obviously all of the good NBC comedies that have been talked about (BFF forever in my heart)

The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and Boy Meets World are the greatest shows no longer on television (aesthetically/situationally/funnily)

I've had to cut down on how much ID I watch because I'm home alone more often and there are currently salesbros in my cool town going around sexually assaulting women.

The only reality tv I watch is Long Island Medium (SHE TALKS TO GHOSTS IS NO ONE FREAKING OUT ABOUT THIS) and Tia and Tamera because it's basically just Sister, Sister unscripted.

I very recently powerwatched both of the This Is England miniseries and was seriously impressed.

Vicky McClure(Lol) is insanely great in it. She turns it out.

You guys. You need to start watching The LA Complex.

It's a Canadian show (rumor was that it was originally written as a Degrassi spinoff) about young people trying to "make it" in Los Angeles. They're almost done with the second season now, but Season 1 is available online and is only 6 episodes.

It is the most insane soap opera. Some of the characters include: guy who wants to be a comedian, guy who wants to be a hip-hop producer, girl who wants to be a dancer, washed up actress who used to be on a show like My So-Called Life, actor who just got his break on a Grey's Anatomy type show, and Paul F Tompkins plays a really mean version of himself.

The comedian guy even takes a UCB class halfway through season 1, and I recommend watching that as an example of what NOT to expect in a UCB class.

Please check this show out. It has terrible ratings, but is really worth watching.

Is anyone else a fan of Golden Girls?

I'm not a fan of Golden Girls.

I am THE BIGGEST fan of Golden Girls!!! 8-)
Seen every episode several times!!

(proving that I am more loser than nerd;
in one episode of Friends we found out Ross used to stay home on saturdays and watch Golden Girls... I did that! And still do to this day! LOSER4LIFE!!!)

Golden Girls is brilliant! It is an active dream of mine to retire to Palm Springs (can't stand humidity, so Miami is out) and Golden Girl. It. Up. No shame here; keep moving.

oh my god i used to act out golden girls scenes with my barbies when i was like 5 because my babysitter watched it all the time. still love it.

i am still kind of obsessed with degrassi but i just love teen dramas and anything on teen nick. I'll think after like 10 years or something I should be done but then there will be one really great plot with the one character I still love (aka queen ali bhandari) and I can't stop!!!!
