You guys. You need to start watching The LA Complex.

It's a Canadian show (rumor was that it was originally written as a Degrassi spinoff) about young people trying to "make it" in Los Angeles. They're almost done with the second season now, but Season 1 is available online and is only 6 episodes.

It is the most insane soap opera. Some of the characters include: guy who wants to be a comedian, guy who wants to be a hip-hop producer, girl who wants to be a dancer, washed up actress who used to be on a show like My So-Called Life, actor who just got his break on a Grey's Anatomy type show, and Paul F Tompkins plays a really mean version of himself.

The comedian guy even takes a UCB class halfway through season 1, and I recommend watching that as an example of what NOT to expect in a UCB class.

Please check this show out. It has terrible ratings, but is really worth watching.

Thanks for getting me addicted to another TV show. Jerk.

I'm currently up to Season 6 on Netflix. I started watching because I missed Cougar Town which was created by the same guy and has a similar style of humor.

Does anyone else watch Him & Her? It has Russell Tovey from Being Human UK and Rose's Mom from Doctor Who in it.

Hey Orlando,
When you told me about Him & Her, you didn't mention Russell Tovey.
I will now look into it.

I just looked at this thread for the first time and I have to third the Degrassi love. I haven't kept up with the most current season but I've seen every episode of Degrassi Junior High, Degrassi High, and Degrassi: TNG up to season 10. Every episode multiple times.

That is all.
