I like music, because for me it's one of the few things that changes my mood and can even lift it. As was the case this night (over here it is night time now), whilst listening to Sheryl Crow. Surges of hope and feeling free were bestowed upon me while listening to some of her tracks. She's awesome, no doubt.

Dredg has been my favorite band for awhile (I think since the 1st time I've heard them). Their music is just so creative & different, & their lyrics are so poetic & metaphorical. Some of the songs take several listens for a person to get an idea of what they mean, there are some that I'm still not 100% on, & I love that!

Also, they're doing a couple of concerts in NY in 2 weeks! Super excited about that!!!

A little comfort for my comatose morning.
Different types of music help me deal with different moods during the day.
I like music to relax me most when I'm tense and erratic.

If I'm feeling really sad though, I usually listen to patsy cline, ella fitzgerald, roy orbison, bobby vinton, billie holiday.

L.BO and GPG are my favorite rappers. They have countless mixtapes and CDs, none of which are available to the public because they were extremely underground. Some day I want to upload all the CDs to a torrent.

I love Gravy Train!!!! (the four exclamation points are a part of the band's name) because it's one of the only bands that my siblings and I all enjoy.

I'm into Horrorcore, because I was a teenager from Michigan. I also produced the instrumental for this song by Stitchez/Mental Ward.

I enjoy Demi Lovato a lot. As a kid and teen I was never into pop music, just underground/old school rap music. So, I'm going through my pop music phase now. Or it's because I love Sonny With A Chance...

I also like my own music, I'm a rapper. (More on my Youtube page). Link to my CDs for free download are in the description of the video on Youtube.

I've been listening to Hunx and His Punx all day. They sound like a cross between 1960s bubblegum pop and John Waters

The most Hardcore band in the world. Dillinger Escape Plan

Adam Doll the bassist gets paralyzed in a car accident. Brain Benoit the 2nd guitarist suffers brachial plexus neuritis, causing nerve damage in his left hand. Ben Weinman the lead guitarist has to have rotator cuff surgery, fractured vertebrae and months later breaks his foot during a video music shoot and has to play part of the tour in a wheelchair. Greg Puciato the lead singer likes to climb rafters at shows and routinely has cuts and bruises at the end of a show. Image

"In 2002 The Dillinger Escape Plan made national United Kingdom headlines when, at the prestigious Reading Festival, Puciato defecated in full view onstage, put it into a bag, and threw it into the crowd before smearing the rest onto himself, proclaiming "This is a bag of shit, I just wanted to show you this so you'll recognize it later on throughout the day", in reference to the quality of music he felt was appearing that day of the festival. The band's set was one of the highest reviewed of the entire festival that year, and was later included in a list of the top one hundred Reading or Leeds performances of the decade."

After hearing her on the show again last night, I bought one of Mal Blum's albums and I've already listened to it 3 times. If you haven't yet, you should proooobably go get that shit on iTunes.

Also, check out Mike Doughty. He was the lead singer of Soul Coughing but now he's soooloooo and he's awesome.
