I didn't know what it was, really. Honestly i had no idea what I was getting into. I thought this was going to be another mnn show that no one really watched.

apologies Jean, haven't gotten to those earlier episodes yet. should go back and watch them.

There's nothing to apologize for :)
My presence on that show is ancient history anyway.

Just wanted to let you know that I have absolutely loved being a random. Although I didn't know much about the show beforehand, I have come to love the show and the community it has brought together so so much and I'm so grateful for the opportunity.

I do apologize for being quiet, I'm actually not a quiet person at all but have found it difficult to interject into the show. It's a combination of so much happening and not knowing when to come in along with being surrounded by these incredible comedic talents. Having no performance experience or comedic training, I've felt a little out of my league. Hopefully on my last episode you'll be able to get to know me a little better! : )

I fully support Cotnoir's take on the whole situation. Why bother "ranking" Randoms? Every single person brings their own unique perspective to TCGS; in the case of the Randoms, that is magnified tenfold. BUT for those of you who would waste your time comparing Randoms, keep in mind the evolution of the show.

In the reign of Randoms Jean and Andrew, the show was smaller and more open. The audiences were smaller, the bits had more space for Randoms to insert their voice. Random Jean invented Randoms, and she had a say in how involved in the show she became. Andrew followed suit, and even had episodes that were centered around him. To our benefit, they both flourished. By the time Melissa and Ellen got their shot, TCGS had a pretty good idea of what it was. The themes were more flushed out and the show had hit its rhythm. It's tough to sit between Scott Adsit and Dino Stamatopoulos and try to crack wise. The shows now are more ambitious and grander, which may leave less room for Randoms. For this reason, it's kind of unfair to say that one random is better or worse than another. It's also kinda shitty.

That said, I'd love to hear more from Ellen, who is a truly outstanding human bean.

Ellen, you're super funny and alot of that comes from how open you are to new, crazy experiences like doing this show at the drop of a hat. I've been laughing the whole time and I'm so proud of you (me and your mom are both so proud of you) I could be biased, but I fucking doubt it.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope you end up performing more.

I agree with Jerseydave and Patrick-Cotnoir that's why I am suggesting a more forced introduction early in a Randoms run so they can expand on the character. For example once we found out Melisa was in a band she started opening up more about musical stuff. My suggestion is 2 shows after there confirmed, center a 5 minute bit on them where the cast mercilessness plays truth or truth with them in which they have to explain there answer.
