I am a live stream viewer and would not be put off at all by some sub-studio quality shows. Even if it was just 8 to 10 shows in an apartment, like this year's Halloween episode (as long as there's a better phone solution).

As a live stream viewer, I can't contribute too much. But I would say that lower quality would IN NO WAY deter those watching over live stream. People love the show way too much to turn it off because of something like that. I, for one, think that should not even be a factor in your minds. Do the best you can, of course. But the best you can is the most we can expect.

Echoing the other livestream viewers -- if there's a show to watch, and you are all there, I will be happy.

Non studio options: I like the UCB idea. Also what about Brooklyn Lyceum? or UCBeast? Or Another black box theater like The Brick or something?

OR here is a longshot, but would IFC be willing to get involved in some way? Like IFC cinemas or something?
Or isn't crash mansion pretty decked out in heavy tech?

I'm a livestream viewer, but as a NYC resident, I'd say go with MNN on 104th. Its already got the equipment you need to broadcast and stream the show, and its only for a short time. MNN on 59th and 11th isn't the most accessible place in the city either, but people turn up there every week. 104th to Grand Central is only about 15 minutes.

Having been at every show for the last 9+ months (geez, I could have had a kid in that time), I would definitely make the trek to the uptown studio. Since I live in Brooklyn, I'd of course be even happier to go to shows out here, as then I might then get home before 4 AM.

as a livestream viewer, I would much rather have a live show every week, no matter where it was or the quality of it, than no shows for 2 months. No matter what choice is made I will still be watching!

maybe you could ah schedule most of the shows at the other studio, but plan a couple special location episodes to break up the commute? like one episode at someone's apt (I truly enjoyed the Bonnaroo dorm episode) and maybe do a big musical episode from Brooklyn with multiple bands or something holiday themed.

I'm a live stream viewer so don't really listen to me, but it seems like the other studio is really the best option, and then maybe if there's big concerns over commute burnout then plan a couple "easy" location eps to mix it up just a little.

1. I will go anywhere in the 5 boroughs to be on the show - and probably beyond.

2. Harlem on the 6 is doable - I went there for the 2011 MNN Xmas party: E to Lex change for the 6, picking it up at 51st St. Not so bad.

3. Brooklyn Lyceum is a great funky space that I love - it's big - don't know whether it's available or sensible but worth looking into.

4. I would offer my place for at least 1 show if you're going to go the apartment tour route.
