looks like that small MNN studio would be the most convenient. and nobody would minx a couple of easy goin episodes where you just talk to people on the phones and in the studio, thats how the show started and thats the show we all fell in love with. it would also be a perfect chance to bring back catch or snatch : D

and i would really like to see an episode from the UCB

Who am I kidding? Even if the show was at my house I'd probably go out afterward and still not get home before 4 AM.

I'm mostly a livestream viewer, but I've come by the studio a few times too. Looking at Google Maps, from where I am in Brooklyn it's actually faster to get to and from the small MNN studio than MNN proper, so that wouldn't deter me at all from dropping in.

I think the apartment tour idea is a good one (I'd offer up my very spacious place up for an episode!), but I'd be wary about how much the change in space week to week would affect the format of the show. Change can definitely be good and refreshing, but as fun as the Asbury and Halloween episodes were I think I'd be turned off by that much chaos on a weekly basis.

I'm not familiar with how much it costs to put a show on in a venue, but you already have a relationship with Littlefield, would you be able to broadcast a pared-down version from there? I think it would be awesome to have the show in any similar venue where there's a built-in after party.

Idk what the rates would be but when Watch What Happens Live was displaced from our studio during the hurricane, we did it at Manhattan Center Studios on 34th and 8th, so I know they have live broadcast capabilities. If TCGS didn't tape at same time, I'd say maybe we could work something out in our regular studio in Soho. If it's uptown I'd try and go to at least 1, but it'd be a bit far of a commute for me for every week. But who knows... I've been to your show with a 6am call time the next day so...

I'd love to do something at a non-MNN location. Don't get me wrong, I love MNN with all my heart, but we could have so much fun without the public access bylaws. We got a taste of it in the Halloween show - but it could go so much further.

I'm so sorry. I'm SO sorry.

Do it from uptown east side studio. I'll be able to eat at shake shack before the show.

Oh great, that's there?

I'm gaining thirty pounds over the next two months.

As a live streamer/archiver I would like to say that so long as you are showing something at 11pm on wednesday night I will either watch it live or in the archives. What makes The Chris Gethard Show great is not it's production values but the community of wonderful and creative people that surround it (and of course the man with his name in the title). I 'm not saying this to blow smoke up yer arse but to simply remind you that your audience is too loyal to abandon you because of two months of slight inconvenience. If my vote is worth anything I think that the alternate MNN studio seems to be your best option and if you decide to go with only one camera make sure that the camera is of sufficient quality (but if not no biggy).

Can you do the show live from Lincoln Park for two months?

All kidding aside, I'll go wherever it is. I really like the idea of UCB/The Beast shows. Seems appropriate.

Brooklyn's Public Access

Queens Public access

Bronx Public Access

I cant think of anything except to go through another boro for similar quality for a bit. Though Trekking it to East Harlem would be slightly ghetto, its do-able and fine for a few months.
