I love how Jean is the only person to complain about Spanish Harlem and Mimi implied she'd go to Staten Island to do the show. Now that's contrast. Who's going to find a bar around there that can accommodate everyone afterward?

Wish I'd seen this earlier—I've been shooting a movie the last few days! Not that I'm very active on the boards...something I plan on remedying.

Anyway, figured I'd weigh in as another crew member. You know I'll go wherever this show goes—I come every week not because it's easy to get there, but because I love working on it and being a part of an amazing community.

Like Mimi said, I would totally be up for hosting a show in my apartment. It's not huge, but I do live with 2 other filmmakers and I'm sure we could do something broadcast oriented in addition to the live stage feel. Also, speaking of filmmaking—this is a long shot, but NYU does have 2 very state of the art TV studios. After hours may be kind of doable! I doubt it—I really do, but it's worth checking in to. Also, if you're up for a trek to New Haven for one of them, my dad runs the sales dept. at our local ABC affiliate. Perhaps I could talk to them? I don't know, these are obvious long shots, but I want to help in any way I can!

I'll go to the least safe part of the Bronx to be part of this weekly party, east Harlem doesn't scare me

That part of Harlem isn't that bad and you could go to Milk Burger before the show!

A lot like Shake Shack. Good stuff.

Bars cut out our under 21 audience, but the firehouse and people's apartments cut out our entire audience.

Honestly, as long as it's not as ghetto as Wakefield Bronx, I'm fine. Spanish Harlem is slightly ghetto. East 104th st is like the border.
